Our fees

Advisers and Wealth Managers charge initial and ongoing fees for the services they provide. These are usually levied as a percentage of the investments that they ‘manage’. In addition to these charges there are likely to be fund management charges and also product charges. This is the total cost of advice/investing and can reduce the returns you receive by over 2% p.a. It is now a requirement to outline these costs and charges to you annually.

It is also important to consider the scope of the advisory services being provided. Is the advice aligned with your personal objectives? Are the advice services you receive independent of investment management and product selection? Does advice extend beyond just selecting products and investments or is it a comprehensive planning and consultative process? Do you receive advice on tax efficient accounts and tax planning, estate planning, profit extraction, as well as investments?

Our services are designed to provide comprehensive advice and service excellence at reasonable cost. We charge initial and ongoing fees based on your specific needs and the level of technical competence required to deliver meaningful benefits. Once we understand your requirements, we will be pleased to outline the expected costs of advice and investing for your prior agreement.

Our advice is free from conflicts in terms of the products and services we recommend, which means we receive no financial benefit from the investments we arrange for you. We will seek to keep such costs to a minimum for your sole benefit. We can work on a flat fee or percentage of investments for both initial and ongoing advice. Where clients work with us on a percentage of assets basis, the total annual cost of our services, including investment management, custody and administration will typically fall in the range of 1% - 1.6% p.a. These fees can be taken directly from your investments where the provider can facilitate such payments.

Our approach could not only save you significant amounts over the lifetime of your investments but ensure they are right for you and provide fair value for money.
